Planet 9 was formed in a bedroom in 1997 by two friends. We had no idea exactly what was in store, we just played the music that came from within us. While our individual musical styles where so much alike, we still had our own unique styles. Combining jazz, blues, metal, funk, folk, and alot of just fat ass phycadelic groove we began our journey into the unnown. While our album "Moondust" show's our moody mellower side our "Upcoming album" showcases our more aggresive side. This qoute from our song "No Love" pretty much describes what we are about lyrically,

Hate, Sorrow, and greed is all that we see, The ninth planet is the farthest from where we want to be.............
